NST Pak Explorer

Instruction:
To modify pak you have to "normalize" it.
1) By QuickBMS and Aluigi's script extract content of some let's say example.pak to folder example.
2) Inside example could be two folders - temporary and UNSUPPORTED. You should open UNSUPPORTED folder, copy temporary folder from here and merge it with another temporary
3) In NST Pak Explorer open example.pak, then press "Normalize" and select example folder
4) Press "Repack" button and save normalized pak. Do not overwrite source pak!
After that preparation you can modify your normalized pak
1) Replace button allows you to replace selected item by external
2) Import button allows you to import files from another paks
3) Export allows you to extract file and modify it for further replacement of original.

New version: uncompressed chunk fix
New version: Patch tweaks. Repack command now backups original file and saves repacked with name of original, so you just run game after patching.

Hi neo_kesha :) at first i would like to thank you on behalf of the whole community for the explorer you made and the hard work you had!

I'm having fun swapping some models in these days, but i can't undersand how to swap models from different paks =( i tried to swap a model with his model and his materials in a different pak and every try i did, the game freeze, but i don't know if i have to swap other files in addition to them to make It works (?).

Hello, Luigi! There is no easy way for model swap between paks yet. There is TDEP chunk, that tells, on what assets that asset depends. All PAK resources are registered in generated package igz in PAK file. I don't know exact format of that thing yet, but we have to register imported files there somehow.
Another way was found by BetaZ - he replaces models and actors, editing their TDEP chunks.

Ah! Dyou know if model import will be possible with igz format?
